The company has an extensive portfolio of EU institutional clients and offers a wide range of services, including outreach to media, stakeholders and citizens using state of the art digital solutions and public relations.
The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist is responsible for the successful management of digital strategies for projects. He/she works with clients to provide them with guidance and coordinates with the agency team to ensure that strategies are effectively implemented. He/she plays a vital role in promoting the integration of cross-functional teams and ensuring the seamless delivery of all work to clients. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and drive growth opportunities. The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist answers key questions, such as how brands are communicated and experienced through digital interactions, and how digital interactions fit into broader citizen experiences.
This individual combines an in-depth knowledge of client business objectives, digital strategies, and the competitive landscape with a rich background in digital marketing and communication to deliver effective digital marketing strategies. He/she handles the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including research, scope development, creative briefings, job execution and impact analysis. He/she should also be comfortable working with a team composed of many different experts and have good communication and “people skills”.
The successful candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with giving out of the box advice to clients and across departments.

Responsibilities

 Sets innovative digital marketing strategies for communications campaigns involving online and offline solutions
 Writes digital marketing briefs, encompassing creative thinking and a good media mix
 Develops strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution
 Works with project managers and agency teams to ensure work is aligned to client and project requirements 
 Proactively keeps abreast of assigned clients' marketing and media plans, and provides technological solutions including rich media, site optimization, promotional ideas, mobile, social networks, viral, etc.
 Follows closely digital marketing market developments and is aware of research studies that yield rich insights into citizen segmented online behaviour
 Defines measurements for digital strategies, provides and reviews campaign performance as well as reporting and analysis to clients
 
Requirements

 At least 7-8 years’ professional experience with 5 years in digital marketing and communication
 Proven track record of successfully managing complex digital projects, and proven ability to set, communicate and maintain campaign objectives, timelines and priorities
 Ability to provide cutting edge innovative activation ideas and concepts, products and services to our clients
 Ability to balance big-picture thinking with strong attention to detail
 Solid analytical skills
 Proficient knowledge of social media platforms and their capabilities
 Up-to-date with latest trends and always eager to try out new formats & digital applications
 Comfortable working in teams with good people skills
 Excellent written, verbal, and technical skills
 Excellent knowledge of English, with additional EU languages an asset
